传统流行Traditional Pop

“传统流行”音乐指的是后“大乐队”（Big Band）和前“摇滚”（Rock）乐时期的“流行”音乐。

“传统流行”音乐的全部歌曲均是由专业的歌曲作者创作，由一名歌手在一支管弦乐队或小型“爵士”（Jazz）乐队的伴奏下进行演绎。

在“传统流行”音乐中，歌曲是关键——尽管歌手是音乐的焦点，但演唱的风格并不像“爵士”乐演唱那样依赖于人声上的即兴。

“传统流行”音乐也可以涉及到为歌手提供器乐设置的管弦乐队的领班和编曲人。
